Virtual Wine Tasting or Mixology Events

Professional sommelier, Michaela Hightower, has been working with companies and non-profits across the US for years hosting in person wine tasting and mixology events. Now, during Covid-19, she’s taken her wine tasting and mixology events virtual.

Virtual Wine Tasting and Virtual Mixology events are online events usually held over video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Webex or Google Meet.  They are a great way to:

  • celebrate the holidays with family and friends,
  • recognize the hard work of your employees,
  • build team spirit,
  • celebrate your clients, or
  • raise funds for your non-profit.

These virtual events give your guests the chance to connect, relax and learn something new.

How it Works

To plan your virtual event call Michaela to book your date and discuss the type of event you would like, wine or mixology, and your budget.

Together you’ll discuss your options including:

  • type of beverages,
  • food pairings (if desired),
  • logistics of delivering beverages and food to all the guests,
  • timeline leading up to the event,
  • technical aspects of the event, and
  • how the show will run.

Each event includes 4 hours of Michaela’s time for preparation, planning and the actual 1-hour event itself.  The cost of alcohol and food are additional.

For wine events, each participant will receive 2 or 3 full bottles of wine (depending upon your preference and budget.)

For mixology events your guests will be taught to make two cocktails from one spirit.  Cocktail supplies are sent to each guest.  Then, you can choose to provide the liquor to the guests, or they can purchase it prior to the event.  For those who live in states where laws prohibit shipping alcohol, Michaela will find a local liquor store where the alcohol can be picked up.

When planning a virtual event there are many details to be worked through.  Michaela will lead you through the process to ensure a good time is had by all.
