Whiskey 'O the World

The word “whiskey” comes from the Gaelic “uisge”, meaning "water of life," also known as aqua vitae in Latin. Actually, there are many forms grapes, grains, and fruits turned to alcohol delights that were at one time or another considered to be the “water of life” in their infancy. Now the big debate seems to be whether whiskey produced by the Scotch, Irish, or American is the best for drinking purposes. Well, let’s see, shall we?
