While chilled wine and cold beer seem to be the Studs of Sips in the summer, there are times where nothing but a RED WINE will do! Summer grilling and lingering sometimes requires a little more! In this experience, we will explore light, but character rich, red wines (perhaps a Dornfelder, or a Primativo, or a Monastrell) that are fun and funky varieties so your summer entertaining offers just a little more spice!
The Curious Palate is a tasting experience that is designed for the taster who wants to take their personal wine (or spirits) experience to a new level by building knowledge...while having fun! What is the difference between drinking and tasting...and does it matter? How does what’s in your glass pair with food? How can you elevate any event with a little more flavor? While we take our studies and classes seriously, we strive to make each tasting delightful and dynamic!
To keep your curiosity piqued, the location of this tasting experience will be released to participants about 5 days before the event. But, never fear, this event is in Colorado Springs! This experience is a 90 minute tasting adventure beginning at 6:00pm and includes friendly and professional instruction, tasting of 4 wines paired with food bites, and a takeaway note sheet. Space is limited; advanced paid reservations are required.
