Judgement of Paris: Chardonnay and Cabernet

WE HAVE POSTPONED THIS TASTING EVENT BUT I'M NOT SURE WHEN WE WILL RESCHEDULE YET AS WE WILL ABSOLUTELY WATCH OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS.

 Greek Mythology provides us with the first Judgement of Paris…a unique beauty contest amongst the Gods. In May of 1976, wine makers, wine snobs, and one spirited journalist provided us with a second, tastier Judgement of Paris.  It was well known that France produced far better wine than the US would ever be capable of…well, until this fateful blind tasting where California Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon took the lead…much to everyone’s surprise and much chagrin!  In this class we will compare the two varieties in New World and Old World classics.

This experience is a 90 minute tasting adventure beginning at 6:00pm and includes friendly and professional instruction with a tasting of 4 wines paired with food bites. The exchange is $35.00 per person; or $30 for Curious Palate  Pass Holders. Space is limited; advanced paid reservations are required.
