Contrary to popular belief, Tequila is not fermented cactus juice. Nor is it best paired with salt, a lime and wild good time on the dance floor. Oh, Tequila is so misunderstood! No other spirit is surrounded by as many stories, myths, legends, and lore as tequila and its parent spirit mezcal, or its siblings sotol and bacanora. In this stand n’ sip experience, we’ll explore the history of the spirit originally enjoyed by Bandidos and Rancheros…and learn how to mix and craft fresh cocktails worthy of a new level of enjoyment!
This “workshop” is a 90 minute mixology adventure beginning at 3:00pm and includes friendly and professional instruction, historic understanding and tasting of the featured spirit, and hands on cocktail creation resulting in two crafted cocktails and paired food bites. The exchange is $40.00 per person; or $35 for Curious Palate Pass Holders. Space is limited; advanced paid reservations are required.
